ABOUT THE CLUB
The Liberal Country Club was organized in 1921 by a small group of local businessmen. These individuals were C.M. Light, J.S. Miller, R.E. Colvin, Ralph Summers, F.G. Boles and A.P. Emrie. The prominent businessmen had a goal for The Liberal Country Club and through many years of hard work and determination the club has continued to offer members and their guests the best quality services deserved.
The Original clubhouse was built in 1930 to accommodate the sand greens. The Course was gradually changed to bent grass over the years. The original clubhouse burnt down in July of 2001 and the new clubhouse was completed in 2003. Traditions continue to be followed and formed to this day at the LCC. Many changes have been made to the club over the years and will continue to make changes to increase the quality of the club.
The club has 200 members and continues to grow. We offer a few varieties of memberships to fit golfers, non-golfers and non-residents. Member accommodations include nine-hole golf course and clubhouse with formal dining room, cocktail lounge, pro shop and swimming pool.
